Yoga Therapy
Yoga Therapy Scholarship Scheme (YTSS)
& Small Group Classes (SGC)
Yoga therapy offers a powerful and effective approach to intervention and rehabilitation for individuals with disabilities and special needs. At YAMA Foundation, we provide personalised 1:1 adaptive yoga therapy through our Yoga Therapy Scholarship Scheme (YTSS) and inclusive support via our Small Group Classes (SGC).
Our mission is to champion yoga therapy as a transformative early intervention and rehabilitation solution for those who need it most. To further this goal, we conducted a comprehensive study evaluating the impact of our yoga therapy programs on 60 children with disabilities and special educational needs (C-SEN). Running from January 2021 to December 2023, the study revealed compelling evidence that yoga therapy serves as a highly effective alternative to traditional therapeutic methods. We are now looking to further enhance our findings from the study with a controlled group this year.
Through our initiatives, we aim to empower individuals and promote the widespread adoption of yoga therapy as a meaningful pathway to enhanced wellbeing.
