Christmas is here and would you believe that approximately 3000 Hong Kong children living in extreme poverty have asked for nothing more than a pair of school shoes as a gift? This breaks our hearts that our community has to live like this. ☹️

YAMA Foundation has supported Society for Community Organisation (SoCO) for the past seven years, by buying shoe vouchers for children every Christmas so they can choose a brand new pair of good quality school shoes that they choose themselves, giving them dignity and pride as a student.

The online platform charges a nominal processing fee, but aside from this, we use every dollar to purchase as many shoe vouchers as we can based on what we raise here. We share our impacts on our blog, once the vouchers have been distributed.
